Takeo, Cambodia News: On October 23, 2018, at 07:37 pm, Kirivong district police arrested two women, Khouy Seivtea, 30-year-old, and Pheap Leanghout, 28-year-old, for trafficking dried marijuana, in Chroy Sleng village, Kirivong district, Takeo.

The operation was led by the lieutenant Sok Somnang, the provincial police chief, cracked down drug trafficking issue and arrested two suspects. The police confiscated 11kg of dried marijuana and a motorbike.

The suspects have been questioned for case preparation.

Hell no. That stuff looks like you'd feel something from lack of oxygen before you got enough THC from it.

Unlucky for them handcuffed up for 11kg, that's about 380 ounces. I read about a woman in Battambang not so long ago who was caught with 830 plants and those could easily yield at least 1600 ounces, about 45kg, and they let her off with a warning as far as I could work out

I was under the impression that weed was legal if used for cooking and medicinal purposes?

I don't think that's at all true, it's just that the police tend not to get involved when it's just some old lady making soup with ditch weed.
