Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: An unidentified African man got charged for attacking people at 3 am on October 19, 2018, at Rose bar on street 104, Sangkat Wat Phnom, Phnom Penh. The two victims, Men Sony, 25-year-old, a cashier at Rose bar and Sok Kamsan, 28-year-old, a security man.

The victim said the African man used to be a regular client at the bar. Before the incident, the suspect was very drunk and yelled at staff in the bar. The owner was scared that the suspect would bother other clients, so they asked the security to stop him. Suddenly, the suspect smashed the cashier's head into the sofa causing her to pass out for a while and attacked a security man who tried to stop him.

People in the bar detained the African man and took him to Wat Phnom police post to file the complaint, but the police chief didn't accept the complaint. The victim was very disappointed about this, so they took him to file the complaint at Khan Don Penh Police station instead, who accepted the complaint.

Too busy shaking down local businesses and punters.

Hope they throw the book at the guy; few things I hate more than violent drunks.

Many people have problems in that bar, good chance it was not the customers fault. The staff can be rude and short-change people. I was almost attacked by a staff member in there once.

Probably the most badly managed hostess bar in Phnom Penh.

Doesn't justify hitting a woman.

Why was he a customer in the first place. Rose Bar had a colour bar I thought. Standards are slipping. Do the Chinese go to hostess bars?
