BREAKING NEWS: Court Orders to Arrest Cambodian Political Commentator Kim Sok
17/09/18 23:51
Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 17 – Phnom Penh Municipal Court ordered to arrest and detain Cambodian political commentator Kim Sok, charged with “incitement and public defamation” committed in Phnom Penh on 13 February 2017.
Court released the arrest order on 14 September 2018 after Kim Sok did not appear to clarify the above case.
Sok talked on Radio Free Asia on 13 February 2017, accusing the government of creating a system to murder people and not able to find the murderers.

Cambodian political commentator Kim Sok arrived safely in Finland with his daughter on Friday after gaining political asylum following weeks of hiding in Thailand under threat of arrest in Cambodia for his criticism of Cambodian prime minister HE.
