Kratie, Cambodia News: On September 5, 2018, 13 housewives were detained for playing cards in a private home in Sangkat Krokor, Kratie.

Mr. Phat Sopheakveasna, the commander of Kratie police, coordinated the police force to crack down on 13 women who were playing cards. The evils of gambling cannot be underestimated and police take playing games for money very seriously.

The women were taken into custody, where they were reeducated by the police, and released when they agreed to never play cards again.
