French Expat GABRIEL MAZ (Owner of Cherie's Bar) Dies of Heart Failure in Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: French expat, Gabriel Maz, died of heart failure in Calmette Hospital, who friends have said was sick and suffered from depression. He was only 31 years old.
Gabriel was the owner of Cherie's Bar on Street 130, right across from his father's bar, Loco Bar.
May he rest in peace and condolences to all his friends and family.

On that note, KoW can severly shorten ones lifespan just look at the amount of premature deaths of barags in the last 7 days for proof.

Very sad news. I've met him at his bar very briefly and he seemed very nice. I'm guessing it was about 2 years ago and shortly after he bought Cherie's Bar.
This is devastating to his dad, I'm sure, and I hope he gets through this. I can't imagine much worse than losing a son, and even more devastating when it's far from home.
