Thief Arrested with Cooker, But What About the Rest ?

Phnom Penh: On July 17 at 8:30 am, one of a gang of 3 thieves was arrested for a household burglary, on national road 5, Sangkat Sras Chok, Phnom Penh. The suspect was identified as Pat Sopheak, 32-years old, that police have arrested in possession of a rice-cooker and a telephone belonging to the victim.
The 42 year old victim, Lek Nhean, was overcome with joy to get his rice-cooker back, but was slightly less joyful to learn that he had also lost a speaker, a perfume, a Hot water Tub, a blender, some gold, 400,000 riel and other items. The two other thieves escaped with most of the loot, leaving their comrade looking like a right cockup with his rice-cooker.
The police are preparing the case at Khan Daun Penh Police station.
