Just before 8 am this morning I counted twenty fire trucks heading [ home for breakfast ? ] south along riverside.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Phnom Penh: In the early hours of July 10, 2018, at around 3:03 am, 64 houses in Khan Keo Roussey, Phnom Penh, were destroyed by a fire believed to be caused by an electrical fault.
The original household electrical fire ignited a gas cylinder, causing an explosion, which intensified the fire, and caused it to propagate to the surrounding houses.
The fire was intense, and it was difficult for the fire fighters to gain access to the site because the street was so narrow, and in the end, 32 fire engines were needed to completely extinguish the blaze.
Very fortunately, there was nobody injured. The police are investigating the case.

64. Houses. Destroyed. What are they made of? Tinder? Most construction these days is concrete and would confine any fire to the Darwin Awardee!

Re: Pretty big fire last night.
The people who lost their homes were very poor, and now they are also homeless.
Mitapheap village chief Pok Savoeun said the fire started around 3:15am and was doused by 6:25. He said 67 families lost their homes, of which 55 were Vietnamese.
He confirmed that the area is an unorganised location situated along the river, but there were few problems reported in the village.
“The affected Vietnamese families are not well off. Some are drivers or fishermen, but they are polite and do not gamble or cause conflict to bother the authorities,” Savoeun said.
