Thbong Khmom: The police have been investigating a case where a man posted on social media that he won a car from an Oishi drink bottle top, but he got cheated of the prize by his boss, who is the owner of KTV Vimean Trob in Thong Khmom.

The man, Hem Nimal, said that he bought an Oishi Green Tea drink, and when he opened the bottle he saw on the bottle top that he had won a car as a prize. He was so scared to lose the prize-winning bottle top that he asked his boss to keep it for him.
A few days later, his boss borrowed his phone to get the car prize from Oishi drink company for himself, and he told his employee to forget about and not mention it to anyone. The man realized he'd been cheated by his boss, so he posted a live video on social media asking for justice.

What sort of car can you get from these Oishi tea drink guys? Some of their drinks are ok, the pomegranate tea is quite refreshing. I never even thought to look in the caps, even though I won a grand on a beer ring-pull one time.

If you look closely at the top half of the cap, you can see the outline of a pickup.

It was a ford pickup, maybe a ranger, the story has been going on all day. Last I saw the missing top and 3 who claimed the prize (another man was involved) were all thrashing it out in the police station.

The Oishi Car Update

This morning it was reported that a young man, Hem Nimol, complained on Facebook about his boss taking a drinks cap that had won a car and not returning it.

However the boss, Sin Mao, said that another man had bought the winning bottle when with Hem Nimol, and disputes the claims against him.

The isue came to the attention of Tbong Khmum police force, who called the complainant, the boss and another employee into the police station to resolve the case. The prize winning cap was discovered and the police are now working hard to settle the dispute.

Meanwhile the luxury Ford pick-up is being held by the drinks company until police finish their investigation.

Presumably the person who bribes the cops the most gets the car.

That's why we have a team rule - regardless of who paid for it, open your own cans or bottles and claim any prizes. We keep winning free cans, for which we have to pay 500r.
