Cambodia News: A 62 year old American pedophile fugitive GILBERT GREENWOOD from Idaho has been arrested in Siem Reap over child sex crimes in the United States, and will be extradited back to the US to face charges of first degree aggravated rape of a 4 year old girl and charged in 2013.

Cambodian police arrested this man after a request from the US Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) who often work with foreign counties and the FBI to hunt down fugitives abroad.

Gilbert Michael Greenwood has been on the run since he failed to appear in court back in 2014 in Washington state, and it was assumed by US Marshalls that he was still hiding in the US for a while.





There has also been a $1,000 bounty his head.

I am about 95% certain I have seen this guy at one of the late night backpacker bars in Siem Reap at least 2 years ago. He's a pretty big American Indian and had hair plugs, but was telling everyone all he did was rub cannabis oil all over his scalp every day and it magically grew back.

If it was in fact him, I'm sure other expats in Siem Reap would recognize him, as a big American Indian man really stands out in Siem Reap when he's hanging out at expat places.

Yeah, you'd think they'd at least cancel his passport when he's out on bail. To be fair, Gilbert Michael Greenwood is an "ACCUSED child rapist," so hasn't been convicted of the crimes yet, although failing to appear in court and running off to hide in Cambodia doesn't make him look very innocent at all.

I haven't looked at the court file or anything, but perhaps he was accused of raping a 4 year old child, and was presumed innocent, and he posted bail because it's normally available except for capital crimes (i.e. murder).
