Chinese driver with no license crashes with moto in Sihanoukville

SIHANOUKVILLE - Police say that at 11 pm on May 27, 2018, on Independence Street, in Preah Sihanouk province, an accident occurred between a HIGHLANDER vehicle, 2AQ 4086 license plate, driven by GUO PENG, a 31yo Chinese casino worker without a driver's license, and a red and white Airblade, driven by a 24yo Vietnamese construction worker, identified as Viv Van Chang.
The motorbike crashed heavily into the passenger door, injuring the passenger, ZHENG LI XIAI, a 27yo Chinese woman, who was taken to hospital. With the impact of the crash, the Highlander driver lost control of his vehicle and plowed into a roadside residence.
The Vietnamese man, who was not wearing a helmet, was also badly injured and taken to hospital by ambulance. The driver of the car has no apparent injuries, and will be questioned by police.
