Game of Thrones fan fought off intruder with medieval spear

A GAME of Thrones fan was able to thwart a home burglary by attacking his alleged intruder with a medieval spear.
Jimmy Morgan Jr, who participates in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), which recreates 17-century battles, said he grabbed the weapon when he heard Thomas McGowan enter a window at his Texas home on Tuesday night.
Wearing a Night’s Watch T-shirt, Morgan recounted the heroic encounter in acolourful interview with local news outlet KFDX.
