Phnom Penh: On April 17 an unidentified American Woman tried to commit suicide by jumping from the 2nd floor of her apartment in Borey Monorum in Sankat Tonle Basak, Khan Chamkarmorn, Phnom Penh. Fortunately, she was not dead, but she injured herself quite badly.

Before the incident, the victim tried to jump from the apartment, but she fell into the first floor roof and then fell to the ground. Then she tried to kill herself again by running into a car, but people near by stopped her and she passed out. An ambulance took the victim to the hospital immediately.

After the incident, the police went to inspect the scene and contact the American Embassy after it was determined that the victim was an American citizen. The USA embassy took the victim to Calmette Hospital.

personally I feel for this drug addled western women.

Good to see an embassy that actually does its job.

She looks familiar, but I'm not sure she's American. I'll wait for more news.
