Beautician stabs man who won't stop feeling up her boobs

Phnom Penh: A 32 year old beautician, Toch Chenda, also known in the neighborhood as a drug dealer, was arrested after she stabbed a man who was trying to touch her boobs, at 2 am on April 9, at her rented room in Prey Pring village, Sangkat Chom Chao, Khan Por Senchey, Phnom Penh. The victim is identified as Bok Thearith, 25 year old, a private company security guard.

The woman said that the victim was a friend of her husband who often came to their home.That evening, the victim came over to drink with her and her husband. But, around midnight, when her husband was drunk, the victim who was also rather drunk kept trying to touch her breasts again and again, even when she tried to make him stop. In the end, it made her so angry that she took a knife and stabbed him in the back.


The neighbors reported that the victim and the suspect are both drug dealers who use drugs at the suspect's house everyday. They thought it was quite likely that the violence was due to drug use.

After the incident, the police took the suspect and the victim to the police station for questioning.

A man and a woman were separately charged by Phnom Penh Municipal Court yesterday over an incident of sexual assault by the man that led to him getting stabbed.

Meng Touch, a Por Senchey district police officer, identified the woman as Toch Chenda, 32, a makeup vendor and hairdresser, while the man was identified as Pok Thearin, 25, a security guard.

Ms Chenda was yesterday charged with causing voluntary bodily harm and faces up to three years in jail if convicted.

Mr Thearin was charged with sexual assault and also faces up to three years in jail if convicted. They were arrested on Monday.

Mr Touch said that on Sunday night at about 10.30pm, Mr Thearin, a close friend of Ms Chenda’s husband Lim Heng, 28, went to drink at Ms Chenda’s rental room in Chom Chao III commune. They drank beer until about 2:30am on Monday.

Ms Chenda’s husband got very drunk and went to sleep, according to Mr Touch, while Mr Thearin and Ms Chenda continued drinking.

During that time, Mr Thearin repeatedly groped Ms Chenda’s breasts with the aim of raping her, Mr Touch added.

Ms Chenda warned him that she would stab him if he continued to touch her breasts or tried to rape her, but Mr Thearin did not heed her warning and continued to touch her breasts, said Mr Touch.

“She was angry at Pok Thearin for always touching her breasts. She took a sharp vegetable knife and stabbed him many times on his back and caused serious injuries,” he said.

“After being seriously injured, Pok Thearin ran to our local police station for intervention.”

Mr Touch said that after receiving Mr Thearin’s complaint, police went to Ms Chenda’s rental room and then brought both parties to the station for questioning.

He said that after questioning was complete, police arrested both of them and sent them to court for committing violence and sexual assault on each other.

It would in some jurisdictions, however stabbing someone 36 times might be seen as a bit excessive by some gnarly old judge who may spends a fair bit of his spare time in the "Floating World" ( 浮世 ).
