Chinese worker in Stung Treng kills farmer in head-on collision

Steung Treng: In a fatal accident on March 11 2018, a 50 year old Chinese worker at Seang Hai Company, named Chhean Houyjeng, crashed into a motorbike while at the wheel of his Ford Ranger.
The Chinese man is said to have been driving very fast along national road 9 near Cheanukol village, Steung Treng, in an easterly direction,and was turning to the north when the two vehicles collided head on. The car left the road and the motorbike was sent flying. The Cambodian motorcyclist, a 54 year old farmer, was killed immediately from the impact.
After the incident, the police went to check the scene and took damaged motorbike and the car to the police station while investigating the cause of the accident. The family of the victim took the body to prepare the funeral.
