More details here.

27 February 2018
Deadly collision kills four in Battambang
Four people died instantly in a traffic accident early yesterday morning in Battambang province’s Moung Russey district.

Deputy district police chief Doeun Sambath said the accident happened at 2.15am yesterday between a private bus company and a large truck loaded with fish.

“Tha Puthy, 21, the bus driver for Vath Sopheap Company, crashed into the truck which was driving in the opposition direction, causing everyone in both vehicles to die,” he said. “The driver may have been driving too fast.”

He added there were only two people in the bus, which was driving from Battambang province to Phnom Penh, and there were two people in the truck.

“The front ends of both vehicles are completely destroyed,” said Mr Sambath. “Police officers and villagers nearby retrieved the bodies of the four men. Their families have already taken them to have funerals.”
