Sihanoukville gang fight leaves one dead, nine arrested

SIHANOUKVILLE - Nine young men, all under the age of 20, were apprehended by Sihanoukville police on 20 and 21 December in connection with the death of a 19 year old man on 19 December.
The nine belong to two different gangs who were fighting when the man was killed with a large knife. A pistol was also recovered at the time of the arrest, and five other youths are still being sought by police.

Chief suspect and the murder weapon

Although it was not the murder weapon in this case, a big question is, where are punks like these getting hold of firearms ?

When the suspects were detained, the police forces seized a knife as the suspected the murder weapon, a short gun, and three motorbikes, Honda Dreammax and a brand MSX.

Hopefully this was not near any touristy areas of the city
