21 youths detained for Water Festival rumble

Phnom Penh - Security forces apprehended 21 youths on Diamond Island last night, at 20:20 pm on November 2, 2017 in Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Chamkarmorn, Phnom Penh.
Two gangs of young men came to blows, but were quickly convinced by police to stop their fighting, and to come quietly when arrested. 12 motorbikes were also confiscated.

WHY? Were they using them as weapons? My grab rail, if I could remove it quickly would make an awesome boomerang!
