SIEM REAP - Two human skulls more than 3,000 years old have gone on display in a museum for the first time since their discovery in Siem Reap province more than 10 years ago.
The Apsara Authority reported that the skulls were found in the bottom of the ancient Khmer reservoir during archaeologists’ research and excavation in 2005.
Kun Phally, a tourist guide at Preah Norodom Sihanouk Angkor Museum where the skulls are being displayed, said that his clients had been surprised to see the skulls.
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday. Entrance is $0.25 for Khmers and $3 for foreigners.
