Um Manorin , member of Cambodia Senate, the Queen'sMother's brother died at the age of 93 at 8:45 am on 28 September, 2017. His funeral would take place at Wat Buttomwattey Pagoda on 1 October, 2017.

Some sources claim that the entire clan was flagrantly corrupt in the years before Sihanouk's ouster in 1979.
