It tastes like cheap vodka mixed 50/50 with water and a couple of tablespoons of sugar thrown in.

Hmm, never had it with sugar, except those lemon soju cans you get in the vending machines at the japanese hotel lobby. I've grown to like it mixed with hot water, cuts down on the hangover.

Not sure if it would do any good, but mixing it with yoghurt and sprite did the trick for me :)

No no... don't add sugar or water to the crap. Straight out of the bottle soju tastes like diluted vodka that's been slightly sweetened.

Ok, I just tested this for you all.
Soju works as an anesthetic when you have toothache. Just use as a standard mouthwash but you can swallow if you like. :hattip:
Repeat as necessary.

Forgot the gf's mom got me hooked mixing it with this liqueur which I guess has sugar, it's great, I'll pack a suitcase full next time I get back to Beppu. My jap friends sit and mix it with hot water, claim it's good for circulation and a couple other health benefits, eh I've grown to like it.

Swallowing it will make repeat rinses unnecessary :beer2:
