Singaporean casino employee arrested for $5000 scam

Kandal Province:
Cheang Qiao, 28 years of age, Singaporean, an employee in Grand Dragon Resort Casino was arrested after attempting to scam $5000 USD from a 38 year-old Malaysian customer named Chang Win Hui by threatening. The suspect lived in Koh Thom District, Kandal Province and the victim lived in Khan Mean Chey, Phnom Penh. The plaintiff was threatened via phone and email from the accused. Police has detained two suspects after receiving the report from Mr. Chang Win Hui.

Phnom Penh (FN), September 1 - Im Vannak, the investigating judge of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court, on Friday, ordered the detention of a group of four foreign nationals.
They were charged with threats of murder and illegally occupying drugs.

On August 25, 2017, the Ministry of Interior’s Criminal Department received a complaint from Malaysian victim Chang Win Hui, 38, who filed a complaint against the four suspects on charges of threatening him for money.
The police force cooperated with the victim to crack down the suspects immediately.
