Phnom Penh:
A woman was locked up by her first boyfriend after he found out that she had a relationship with a new man.
Her identity was not revealed, but the suspect and his friends involved in the crime scene were Preab Noy, 23 years of age, worked as a driver who own a sword, Hom Eh-a 17 year-old boy, Vet Rai, a 23 year-old man who was a butcher and the first boyfriend of the victim was known as Mab.
They were accused of assault, kidnapping, threatening, and harassment. After the accused found out that she had cheated on him, he kidnapped and threatened her by saying that he would kill both of them, the victim and the new boyfriend.
The victim was attempting to kill herself by hanging and poisoned herself. However, it was not successful.
The suspects were all detained after the locals reported to the police and the victim was rescued.
