Neil Prakash originally claimed to be a Cambodian national called Piseth Duong when he was arrested in Turkey. His mother is Cambodian and his father, Fijian. He is presently being given consular assistance by the Australians in return for information. Actually what he said was this:
Prakash reportedly told Turkish police he was “the son of a Buddhist family and later I chose becoming a Muslim while I was in Cambodia as a result of viewing videos posted by Daesh on the internet”.

I wonder which videos they were that attracted him? Maybe the public executions or the suicide bombing or torture videos? What's not to like about that? 8) :hattip:
He's not Cambodian anyway, he's Australian. Fake news.
