CAMBODIA NEWS: Fabrizio Alvoni, a 48 year old expat from Ferrara, Italy died at Adel's Bar today after 2AM from what authorities have ruled a heart attack.

According to his wife, he had been serving costumers pizza and beer as normal until around 2AM and afterwards sat around drinking some beers himself. When she wake up in the morning she found him dead on the floor and called the police. He was pronounced dead and authorities concluded it was a heart attack.

Fabrizio Alvoni's body has been sent to the Sihanoukville Provincial Hospital awaiting decisions from his embassy or family.

He appears to leave behind a Cambodian wife and young. May he rest in peace and condolences to all his friends.

Holy shit, he was trying to sell the place, too. Wonder if the strain was getting to him. I wound him up a bit on facebook about a burnt pizza he posted, tried to convince me it was how they ate it in Italy. RIP, funny man.

Was he a smoker?

Not all smokers die young (often quite the contrary) but it can be a signiicant contributing factor.

I'd be interested to know what % of non-smokers die of associated cancers (throat, lung) compared to non-smokers.

I'm pretty sure smokers rule the day.
