Frenchman Michael Bernard Fernandez Arrested in Drug Crackdown in Siem Reap, Cambodia

SIEM REAP 16 May 2017. A 37 year old Frenchman, Michael Bernard Fernandez, was arrested with a small plastic bag allegedly containing 0.71 grams of cannabis according to the Siem Reap Drug Squad. Michael Fernandez was charged with possession and storage of an illegal drug and appeared before the court the same evening. It is not revealed how much he was fined.

I for one am happy that this major drug kingpin has been nabbed. He could have swamped half of Cambodia with his evil contraband.

I pleased to see they included a Samsung phone as evidence. Let's see if the Samsung company have a good excuse for it being linked to a drug case.

Four on drug charges
18 May 2017
Three Cambodians and one Frenchman have been detained in Siem Reap provincial prison on drug charges.
Anti-drug police arrested Mout Veasna, 19, and Sam Phan, 17, on charges of ice distribution on Tuesday in the first part of a day-long operation.
Sun Reaksmey, 19, was charged with ice possession and distribution.
The operation also netted Frenchman Michael Bernard, 37, for dried marijuana possession and use...
