Kampot, Cambodia: Hannah Sirkiä, a backpacker from Finland who was arrested in December of last year during a MDMA drug bust in Sihanoukville (only to be released a few days later without charges) has been arrested again, this time in Kampot and for damaging an ATM machine.





She has been accused of damaging an ABA Bank ATM.

Could she have simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time twice in less than 5 months? Seems more likely that she's on a downward spiral.



In a seemingly unrelated story, another foreigner identified as James Benjamin, was arrested in Kampot for damaging property at One Night Guesthouse while under the influence of alcohol.

Yes but there would be other deal breaking factors . Let's face it, you'd smell it long before you got near it. That "What animal smells like that and how long has it been dead?" stench. Then it would bring its sucking gear to the hole and you'd have a choice to make.

Correction and update.
A 32 year old British man, Benjamin James Moore, was arrested by police in Kampot at 7:30pm on 5 May 2017 for damaging property at One Night Guesthouse. He has been sent to immigration. It doesn't say if he will be tried, or just deported.

She doesn't appear to have any bank cards or purse about her. Did the machine eat her card, perhaps?
