Arrests Made After Woman Injured in Phone Snatching

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On March 12, 2023, 2 youths were arrested for aggravated robbery, after they injured a woman when they violently snatched her phone. The two men were on a motorbike when they attacked the woman and made off with her phone on 4 March, on St. 907, in Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh.

The suspects are identified as Ho Rozard, an 18-year-old man from Chrang Chamreas 1, Khan Russey Keo, and El Reaksa, a 22-year-old man from Boeung Salang village, Khan Russey.
The police seized a Honda Dream (PNH 1JJ-6440) that was used for the crime, and the two men are being held in custody for further proceedings.

Trying to rob someone while speeding past on a moto is equivalent to armed robbery in my opinion. When the little shits try to rob someone else who’s also on a moto, I’d feel fine with them charged with something akin to assault with a deadly weapon.

Hope they got a good kicking before the arrest.
