Thomas Jason Barry,46 yo, UK, found dead hours after arrival.

A 46yo British man, Thomas Jason Barry, was found dead No.3E2, Street 208, Group 7, Village 1, sangkat Boeung Reang, khan Daun Penh on November 9 2016 at 11PM.
Tragically, Thomas spent only hours in Phnom Penh before succumbing to a overdose of drugs. He had arrived at PPIA at midday on November 9, where he was greeted and taken home to the above address by a friend of his, William Kenneth Durkin. The friends drank beer (report says 1 can of beer each). Durkin went to lie down with a headache, and when he woke up he found his friend dead around 11pm.
Medical examination found Thomas' body positive for opiates, and the cause of death was given as drug-induced heart attack.

I think hanno is correct - 2 dead from drugs in PP in two days.

Message to tourist druggies. Think before you score (hard) drugs in Phnom Penh. A lot of people have been dying from drugs recently. Like dead right now. Think about it.
Not judging druggies - this is happening - spread the news with your junkie friends please. The heroin in Phnom Penh is killing people. Spread the word.

There doesn't seem to be much in the way of drug paraphernalia around the body, are we sure he didn't just mix something like Tramadol with booze? Opiates doesn't always mean smack. The other guy they found in a cupboard had a needle in his arm. RIP.
