Seems Cambodians were pretty amused by these soldiers parachuting (paratroopers) in Phnom Penh, and here's a video of the one stuck in the light post and another paratrooper landing on the middle of traffic:

Apparently it's these guys:
"The 911 Special Forces Regiment is a special forces unit of the Royal Cambodian Army.
The Operation Base of the special forces airborne 911 unit (SF-911) is near Takethmey Village, Kambol Commune, Angsnoul District, Kandal Province. This unit is under direct command of the High Command Headquarters of Royal Cambodian Armed Forces. The SF-911 have seven branches with 14 battalions under their control."

Embarrassing and potentially lethal landings are part of the hazards of being a parachutist:
I am unsure about whether there is a photo of the actual event, rather than of one of the many re-enactments.

I saw about 5 of them landing over by the Olympic stadium yesterday.
tried to get a pic but my camera wasn't up to it.
thought it was some deal at the stadium as there were fireworks and such later.
this pic of the 'chute hanging from the light pole is classic!

in my 15 years of military service (sas,,sbs,,seal) i never parachuted into a city before
