Marketing Man on Embezzlement Charge
The chief marketing officer for a local electronics company was charged yesterday with embezzling more than $20,000 from his employer, a military police officer said.
Phnom Penh municipal military police officer Sok Luch said the suspect, Ros Chhangka, 35, the chief of sales and marketing for Vichau Co., was charged with “breach of trust” under article 392 of the Criminal Code.
If found guilty, he faces up to three years behind bars and a fine of between two million riel ($500) and six million riel ($1,500).
