4-Month Old Cambodian Boy Injured After Being Shot by Homemade Gun

Mondulkiri, Cambodia News: On July 23, 2018, a 4 month old baby boy was injured on his head after getting shot by a homemade gun, in Pich Chreada district, Mondulkiri.

The police report said that a 6-year-old boy, Chean Khwai, was playing with a homemade gun. He accidentally shot his 4 month old nephew while the baby's mother was feeding the pig. The baby's father took the baby to the hospital immediately.

After the incident, the baby's parents and the boy were instructed by authorities to stop using the improvised gun.
