Australian Female Kristy Anne Blackney Found Dead in Kampot River By Owner of Arcadia Backpackers

Kampot, Cambodia: The body of 24 year old Australian Kristy Anne Blackney was found floating in the river by the owner of Arcadia Backpackers.
The cause of death is presumed to be drowning.
Kristy Blackney left Perth, Australia to fly to Bangkok, Thailand on July 26 for an extended holiday in South East Asia, according to her Facebook.
It also appears she got a tattoo in Phuket, Thailand before heading to Cambodia.
The owner of Arcadia Backpackers found her lifeless body in the river around 10am on August 21 and notified authorities.

Kampot: A body of an Australian woman was found floating in Mak Prank River around 10:00 am on 21 August 2016 located in Teuk Chou district's Mak Prank commune, Kampot province.
The foreigner was identified as 24 year old Australian Kristy Anne Blackney. She had been staying at Arcadia Backpacker Hostel Kampot since 15 August 2016.
Police said the cause of the death was drowning. She is believed to have drowned on the night of 20 August 2016. The disappearance of the woman wasn't noticed until the owner of the Arcadia Place spotted her body floating in the river.
