So, in the privinces at a guest house for some family stuff (thus my lack of attention to the site for the next few days) and it turns out the wifi here (a Cambodian Red Cross guest house) blocks SSL (anything with HTTPS... meaning anything encrypted). I find this very interesting, and have to wonder why they would be diong it if not to snoop my internet traffic. In a western country I could half imagine this... or even possibly Phnom Penh... but here!? It the middle of buttcrack nowhere!? Way to go Bun Rany...

no encrypted traffic. packet inspection filters must be blocking it.

They probably skip over it, because they know nothing of any interest ever comes over networks with ZERO encryption.

Nobody knows it yet, but it's probably the safest way to use the internet without the NSA tracking you.
