SingMeng Telemedia, a leading triple-play provider in Cambodia announced that it is acquiring its broadband rival Digi next month.
The merged operations will provide a diverse range of premier services across the country including broadband Internet, TV, entertainment, Mobile TV & Movie, voice and smart enterprise solutions.
SingMeng has had years of success in its Triple Play and Smart TV services. Having launched the country’s first 4k Ultra High-Definition (UHD) TV service in 2017 and Mobile TV & Movie in 2018, SingMeng is well-known for its Smart Community Platform on top of its Triple Play services. SingMeng also has notable broadband and Internet service to offer, as well as Movie & TV On the Go and Voice over IP (VoIP) telephone services, boasting more than 6,000 kilometers of fiber optic cable network throughout Cambodia.
Meanwhile, Digi has lead the Cambodian residential Internet market since 2008, and the company brings a strong retail market to SingMeng’s Triple Play services. While using future-focused technology with its Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) technology, Digi currently provides fast Internet service and unlimited bandwidth.
While Digi primarily caters to the residential customers, the merged operations will allow SingMeng’s Triple Play services to be more accessible to thousands of Cambodian households.
