7yo vs 71yo

Post by Duncan »

So I noticed my 7 year old girls Samsung tablet had so many downloads that there was no storage/memory left, so I started deleting the downloads one by one to clear space.

Miss smartypants see's me doing it and touches the '' clear all ''.

I swear to God I was going to do that eventually. when I found it.
----------------------------------------------------
I write in a book everything I spend each day and my 9 year old girl just walked past and points her finger at a item and says,,,Not $3, it was $5.

OK, I would have spotted that mistake latter.

This is the big problem in educating kids, eventually they are smarter than their teacher, then what do you do.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Sagely nod then say- "it's all very well being smart, but you need some experience to go with it..."

And then desperately hope that she's not become so smart as to see through this thin, desperate veneer

As long as you learn from your mistakes then you too will learn to move forward with the technology.

The greatest compliment a student can pay a teacher, or a karate devotee his sifu is to excel beyond their expectations because of the teacher's diligent patience. You should be equally proud of yourself as you are of your child.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

Pretty much a no-brainer having a kid at 64.
Seems they are to well brought up to note the excessive flatulence, bad fashion sense & afros growing out of your ears.

I think that's a great confidence booster for the 7yr old and the 71 yr old let that pass as part of a master plan. :) Don't think 7 yr olds get reverse-psychology.

Our seven year old was talking to Siri on her ipad the other day. Set it up herself. Have a look at the young kids on YouTube and TikTok with millions of followers. Some are making fortunes before they get to high school.
