I'm on a Singming fiber line with an 11 and change, up and down, but I see ads for Digitell at 50.

Can anyone confirm, deny or offer any info at all as to the fastest most reliable ISP with fiber is? I want to fuck faster.

Fiber, in my experience, is pretty reliable by itself but some companies can make a mess of anything.

read the small print. Sometimes max speed is only available off peak. Some companies give priority to businesss customers at certain times of the day. The quality from your ISP to the WWW is going to limit your speed regardless of what connection you have between you and your ISP. You really want fiber all the way from your house to the POP. Sometimes it is only part fiber so that's the first thing to check with a prospective supplier

If you want fast, be prepared to pay.. but the 6Mbps and 9Mbps plans from Digi and OpenNet are cheap and reliable and usually faster than the speed you actually signed up for. OpenNet even turned up to install the fibre just three hours after I applied at their office!

What did OpenNet cost to install & monthly/theafter?

Install is free with both of the above if you pay for 6 months in advance when you sign up... otherwise I can't remember the install fee but it's about $16/mo for the service. And one month free when you pay for 5mo. Check their website.
