How to block a phone number?

No options on my Sony phone. No incoming sms, no phone calls, no whatsapp etc. Possible? Or do modern phones not do that?

What phone have you got?
There is somewhere in the settings, either call or phone settings where you can block specific numbers.

Sorry just saw, sony phone so android I guess?
Go to settings, call settings and it's either called block number or bar number. Enter the number in there it will block standard communications. I don't know if it will block it for whatsapp and such but I'm guessing the same options will be on those applications.

It only seems to block either all outgoing/incoming calls, or outgoing roaming calls etc. Weird...

Change your SIM card BKL, and she will be unable to call you.

Is it possible to set the particular incoming number to go direct to voicemail? I was able to do that my work on my days off.

Yeah Samsung allows you to block calls/texts from specific people, but none of my blocked friends have replied to confirm it.
