Looking for some advice on this phone.
Used iPhone, Samsung etc in the past but when the iPad was nicked a year ago I refuse to purchase $$ device.

Trying to avoid EMS Cambodia Post at all costs.

Xiaomi are making some great devices.

I'm not an android man but a colleague of mine is and swears by them. Best value for money and comparable specs to Samsung and Huawei.

Never used the website so can't help you there.

Bought the Xiaomi Redmi note 3 plus and it's an excellent phone for under $200. from Gearbest . Much better than than an iPhone or Samsung which will cost 3x's the price. I would buy the 3plus over the 3s because it can use an SD card to store much more stuff.

Bought a Redmi 3 Pro (not Note) about 4 months ago when my Samsung S3 mini died. Got it from a seller on Alibaba. Very happy with it. Much more powerful than the old one and excellent battery life. I get 2 full days of actually using it off each charge. Cost about $180 including DHL delivery.

Except the Note has a 5.5" screen and I think 5" is big enough. The Pro suffix indicates 3Gb+32Gb.

There are at least a couple of shops in PP with the Note but I couldn't find the smaller one anywhere except online.

The pro can use SD card to increase storage by 128 GB not pro cannot use SD card
