I recently agreed to write three 400 words SEO articles for 20 bucks on a fixed-price contract which both parties agreed via PM exchange. The completed work was sent 2 days ago, and the Indian employer suddenly disappeared. I complained to the live Odesk agent, and they stated that fixed payment isnt guaranteed by the oDesk policy.

I always know Odesk is kind of shit, which is why I migrated over to Elance. I got offered a fixed 30 hours a week @ $10 per hour contract, but the employer so far havent given me any work; I am tempted to let hours run on the Elance work application
