current info on getting a Thai Tourist visa in PP

as I recall it's not a pain, folks use Lucky Lucky and one person said they'd always used some travel agency on the Riverside I believe he said. Any info about actual experiences being asked for onward travel, proof of funds and HOTEL booking (this one make no sense to me at all) would be very much appreciated by me.

Use any agent. Pp will usually give 3 thai tourist visas before they refuse u.
$50 for 3 days up to $65 for overnight

probably worth the 65 as staying 3 or 4 days will run way more than 15 bucks.
The place I stay has gone from $7 to $13 a couple years ago, and now 18. Tho some places nearby have got cheap rooms but have become really run down and no security to speak of. Ok guesthouse is a shadow of it's former self, for example.
