Lanmei Airlines: flights to Vietnam from PP and SR starting 15 September 2017

PHNOM PENH, 29 August 2017: Lanmei Airlines, the latest Chinese airline venture in Cambodia, is expected to start its first services 15 September.
Home-based in the Cambodian capital, the Chinese-owned airline applied for an operating licence last January.

AirlineRoute indicated the airline has now filed a preliminary schedule with both GDS and OAG Schedules Analyser, a strong indicator that the airline is ready to fly.

It is due to launch its first service from Phnom Penh to Hanoi in Vietnam, 15 September, scheduling four flights weekly, using an Airbus A320. The flight LQ666 will depart Phnom Penh at 0715 and arrive in Hanoi at 0900.

A Phnom Penh – Siem Reap – Ho Chi Minh City service is due to start on the same day scheduling three weekly flights. LQ660 will depart Phnom Penh 1245, stop in Siem Reap at 1335 and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 1600. Flights will depart Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

A Phnom Penh – Siem Reap – Macau – Phnom Penh will launch 16 September with three flights weekly. LQ806 will departd Phnom Penh at 1200, stops in Siem Reap at 1250 and arrive in Macau at 1710. Flights will depart Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday...

- A China-Cambodian joint venture LanMei Airlines (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. launched its services in Phnom Penh on Oct 9. THe launch was attended by Buddhist Monk PuKeLiZengWang, China’s ambassador to Cambodia Xiong Po Deng, and nearly 200 other guests.

Cambodia’s deputy prime minister Chia Nan Hong expressed during the launching ceremony of his hope that LanMei Airlines will provide more services between Cambodia and China to build a “Sky Highway” helping to increase an exchange of tourists between Cambodia, China and other countries.
LanMei Airlines CEO Mr. Li said that the Company has been working in many Southeast Asian countries including Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar Thailand and in China, Lanzhou in order to open up airlines services as part of China’s One Road, One Belt initiative to enhance transportation infrastructure in the Mekong Delta.

LanMei Airlines has been registered as a company since March last year in Phnom Penh. It serves flights from Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Sihanoukville and has opened a route from Sihanoukville to Macao in Sept 2017.
