$10 - All-You-Can-Eat-Steak - Bar 21 near Bassac Lane

I'll say this from the start... This is not Haute Cuisine. But it is very good value at $10
This deal is available on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Bar 21 is situated is a little street just south of Bassac Lane at the junction of street 21 and 830. I know 830 is an anomaly sitting between 312 and 354, but that's what google maps says so don't shoot the messenger. I have put a map below.
$10 gets you the right to stuff your face with pretty decent rump steak until your sides explode. All accompanied by buffet salad, some pretty anaemic looking mash or fries, which are not too bad. The steak is BBQ'd over coals and is generally done rare to medium rare for the thick pieces and sometimes a bit too well done for the smaller thinner pieces. Don't expect too much solid advice from the BBQ guy, you have to have a close look and take a flyer.
The good thing is, if you get a tough piece, just go back and take another one! Or take about 3 pieces from the get-go and you're bound to find at least two good bits. But this is the way with rump, it has plenty of flavour, it is very lean but it can be a bit tough. Go for the very thick bits and you wont go far wrong. (In a normal restaurant you just get stuck with what they give you.)
Beer is $1.50 which is not bad for that area, and cocktails $3. Have a Long Island Ice Tea and see if you can walk afterwards.
The seating is of a refectory style benches with big groups of 8 commonplace. There are lots of 4's though and you can always eat at the bar is you're a 1 or a 2. Plenty of fans too which makes it more comfortable when you get the meat sweats.
If you like steak and can eat your money's worth then this is a treat. The place even has a resident dog, an old Golden Retriever, who will happily take any tough bitt of steak off your hands. (he looks very much like Monty the Dog from TRDavid fame - you be the judge)
Here's the pics...
I did tell you it ain't fancy
Plate #2. (You just weren't on my mind on plate #1)
How tempting
Plate #3 (Reduced salad version)
