An appreciation for blindness encounter - completely dark, led to your table, feed a wet restaurant meal in the darkness, have fun with that. No doubt an opportunity to donate to an NGO that supports the blind at the end of the encounter.
Bodge: This ain't Kansas, and the neighbours ate Toto!

I read a review somewhere, will post the link if I can find it again. The gist was eating in the dark is supposed to enhance the smell and taste of the food. It's not coal cellar dark, you should still be able to tell if it's your date of someone else on the other side of the table but not bright enough to let the appearance of your food affect your appreciation of it. Given the amount of effort some chefs make with the appearance of their dishes I'm guessing it's not a top notch chef in this place. But I've never eaten there and have no intention to do so so what do I know?

Ahh....bit adventurous, I'd say. Hope they don't serve you this:
Esp. in Cambodia it is essential to actually see what they serve. It's one of my survival strategies.

Und der Haifisch der hat Tränen
Und die laufen vom Gesicht
Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht
In der Tiefe ist es einsam
Und so manche Träne fliesst
Und so kommt es dass das Wasser
In den Meeren salzig ist
Und die laufen vom Gesicht

Not if you throw in a broad spectrum anthelmintic.

Well, in Cambodia you could call that "the pill after".

I'd keep well away, maybe along the lines of the Monbu Ran movie ミルキースープ改め ザーメン狂の詩 1番 紋舞らん (something like milky soup semen addict)walkjivefly wrote:What's a wet restaurant meal?StroppyChops wrote:An appreciation for blindness encounter - completely dark, led to your table, feed a wet restaurant meal in the darkness, have fun with that.
