Pirates in the Bathtub

Post by StroppyChops » Wed Apr 17, 2019 11:17 pm

This may (not) surprise some people but I'm a fan of bluegrass music and it's derivatives.

I follow Steve'n'Seagulls (much to Mrs Stroppy's disgust) and love their cover versions. They've just collaborated with ClusterPluck on something to do with Pirates in the Bathtub.

I present for your banjo-dueling edification Pirates In The Bathtub by ClusterPluck, featuring Steve'n'Seagulls.

Another favourite cover is "Nothing Else Matters"

Bodge: This ain't Kansas, and the neighbours ate Toto!

Not at all surprised. I can imagine you knee deep in a swamp playing your ukelele to the tones of Kumbaya!

Right up my street. Love this type of music. Now downloaded onto my HDD.

I think we are probably the only two that do like it.

There is a lot more to Blue Grass than people think.

And in case you missed and back by popular demand.....Abby the Spoon Lady

Not out of the realm of possibility, to be honest. I'd need a ukelele. And to know how to play it. I played piano accordion a bit as a kid, while I was learning classical piano. It was my release from the structured learning of classical, which I hated because I was forced to learn, and now regret not sticking with it.
