Ah, the fun shenanigans at 1 am on Pattaya's Walking Street continue.

Pattaya Vendor Assaults Russian Tourist at Walking Street McDonald’s

Early Wednesday morning on March 23 at 1am, a Russian tourist was beaten on Walking Street, South Pattaya in front of Mcdonald’s.

45 year old Russian tourist Mr. Igor was making his way along Walking Street with his three friends, when he was approached by a Thai vendor who offered him various pornographic items.

Mr. Igor believing that he might be scammed, expressed his disinterest in the items being offered. However, due to only being able to communicate in Russian, the Vendor misunderstood Mr. Igor’s intent and thought he was being rude which lead to a scuffle between the two men.

Police Superintendent Mr. Piyapong (check) was notified that the tourist was being physically attacked. Upon arriving on the scene to find the Russian tourist bleeding profusely from his right eye and covered in many abrasions. Despite having many bruises and swellings to his face, he refused to go to the hospital for treatment.

LoL, how dare that weasily little Russian man be rude to the polite street porn peddler! He should be instantly deported for being so insensitive to Thai cultural practices and traditions.
