and yet more Alice in Wonderland stuff
BANGKOK — One of the most well-known foreign correspondents in Thailand is facing a criminal complaint as a result of his reports in September about two Western expats allegedly defrauded of their investments.

If he were to be convicted, Head faces up to nine years in jail, and is believed to have skilled lawyers dispatched to represent him at Monday’s hearing on the resort island province of Phuket.

Classic story about the guy who got ripped off. Another one that came to Asia thinking he was in control of his life through the decisions he'd made.
Asia showed him different.

I hope that lawyer get f'ed right up, the cnut. Be interesting to see how this develops. Probably will just fade away.

one of the many problems here in trying to report the news is u cant say anything bad about any official ( even if its true) for fears of being prosecuted.

Ask Andrew Drumond.....I cant even access his blog/site direct because of the goverment here

Here?
Are you kidding?
At least Thailand, China and Asian nations in general are upfront with their bull shit.

I come from a country that goes on and on about freedom of speech but did you know, in America, you go to jail for publicly insulting a judge, even if what you say is the truth.
