Yet idiots still rent them daily. Widely known they are scammers. So no sympathy.

Even if it's a known scam, it's still upsetting to see these fuckers taking advantage of tourists just wanting to have fun.

This attitude (no filming, i wil kill you, pay pay pay) makes me wish local businesses looses it's tourists so the locals beat the shit out of these scammers for good.

I won't bother go to holidays there, asia is big and other great spots are available.

Everyone who is in phuket knows about it.most people do due diligence when travelling somewhere for the first time and find info about the place. Its widely published about this scam.when i first went my travel agent even told me and that was a long long time ago.
I have seen people get scammed in patong.people watch and 5 minutes later rent a jetski.

The scam has been running for years with police getting their kickbacks. Thailand is nothing but a corrupt little shithole of a country. No need to go there.
