this is the shocking moment an Australian drinker bottled another customer in an unprovoked attack in a bar.
The attacker, Alan Toner, 48, was drinking at a table when he suddenly jumped to his feet and smashed the glass beer bottle over the victim’s head. CCTV shows how the man was instantly knocked unconscious and fell backwards onto the ground at the bar in Pattaya, Thailand, on February 11 just after 1am. Toner then calmly returned to his seat in front of shocked holidaymakers at Triangle Bar in the Sin City tourist hotspot.

Pretty shocking that. Looks like he was with his wife/girlfriend, maybe they had a run in earlier on. Still doesn't excuse his behaviour.

Damn he hit him with a lot of force! He's lucky he didn't die. I have a feeling the guy was eyeballing his girl or mumbled something shitty to her/them walking by. Either way no reason for that big guy to bottle a small guy and from behind !

Oh to be in the days of 18th century American/British aristocracy.
If a man were to ogle another man's corseted courtesan longer than common decency allowed for....the idea of back-stabbing or blind-siding, unthinkable.
A mere slap from your riding glove to the offending gentleman's cheek and a declaration to defend one's honor come dawn with dueling pistols at 10 paces.

that is the type of thing that happens in bars...
toss a woman into the mix and anything can happen.
I have seen cheap shots with glass beer mugs, pool cues...punches...in the days of my youth in the USA..
i saw a woman kick and stomp another woman out in a bar parking lot...over a man...
that was a brutal attack with no regard as to where the hell he was...
to think he would do such an act in Thailand with maybe his wife sitting there...
you would think the guy would leave the bar before losing his shit ....
