Two foreigners stole a large wooden elephant from outside a restaurant in Koh Samui. They were captured on CCTV, and the restaurant owner posted the pictures on social media. The two thieves made it as far as Koh Phangan before being apprehended with their stolen elephant by police.

Had it been a riel elephant , they may have got away with their crime.

Drew Davidson, John Johnson and Andrew Corso were stopped by police in a rented pickup with the stolen goods stashed in the back.
The three were taken into custody and will be sent to Koh Samui where they committed the crime to be charged with theft.

I bet they planned to use it to pick up really stoned chicks at the next full moon party.
