Where is Angkor Wat?

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

Where is Angkor Wat?

Post by General Mackevili »

CNN doesn't seem to know, and my Cambodian Facebook friends are NOT happy about it.

CNN (IIRC) recently used a graphic to show an out-of-control bushfire in Australia - they had the entire continent ablaze. But at least on this occasion they had Australia in it's rightful position, between the Indian and Pacific oceans, rather than as a state of 'Murica.

Hey I'm at Angkor Wat now, cool I'm in Thailand and no one checked my passport. Still confusing why they let Khmer in free and Thais must pay... screwy.

I seem to remember they were named after the Khmer word for shovel.
